*All odds per Caesars Sportsbook (+900 for example means you would risk $100 to earn $900. 20-1 odds would be +2000 if you risked $100).

AFC East

Patriots

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 20-1

  • AFC Odds: +900

  • Division Odds: +140

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes - 190, No +170

Bills

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 28-1

  • AFC Odds: +1200

  • Division Odds: +100

  • Win Total: 9

  • Playoff odds: Yes -200 , No +175

Jets

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 50-1

  • AFC Odds: +2000

  • Division Odds: +700

  • Win Total: 6.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +450, No -600

Dolphins

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 100-1

  • AFC Odds: +4500

  • Division Odds: +1000

  • Win Total: 6

  • Playoff odds: Yes +500, No -700

Storyline: What is next for the New England Patriots in the post-TB12 era?

R.I.B.S.: New England has their lowest win total since 2003 as they look to win the AFC East for the 12th straight season. This also looks like the chance for the Bills to host a playoff game and with seven teams now appearing in each conference, they should be a safe bet to play in the postseason. Their win total, which is the highest since 1999, suggests that they should have consecutive postseason appearances for the first time since 1998-99.

AFC South

Colts

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 30-1

  • AFC Odds: +1400

  • Division Odds: +175

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -145, No +125

Titans

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 30-1

  • AFC Odds: +1300

  • Division Odds: +140

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -140, No +120

Texans

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 50-1

  • AFC Odds: +2200

  • Division Odds: +225

  • Win Total: 7.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +135, No -155

Jaguars

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 125-1

  • AFC Odds: +5000

  • Division Odds: 25-1

  • Win Total: 4.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +750, No -1200

Storyline: Will we see repeated success from the AFC South in the postseason? Two teams reached the divisional round last season, which nobody saw coming.

R.I.B.S.: Miss the 90’s? The Jaguars could be tanking for Trevor Lawrence as their win total is the lowest since 1995! Yes, this could be the worst team in the AFC and in all of football. Lawrence as a Jaguar is my way too early pick but, seriously, 1995. That was when the baby Jags were in their first season as a franchise. The Titans and Colts have their highest win totals in the last handful of seasons as they enter 2020 as slight favorites over the Texans, who have not had a lower win total since 2007.

AFC West

Chiefs

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 4-1

  • AFC Odds: +200

  • Division Odds: -425

  • Win Total: 12

  • Playoff odds: Yes -1800, No +950

Chargers

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 45-1

  • AFC Odds: +2000

  • Division Odds: 6-1

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +175, No -200

Broncos

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 50-1

  • AFC Odds: +2000

  • Division Odds: 10-1

  • Win Total: 7.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +225, No -200

Raiders

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 30-1

  • AFC Odds: +1300

  • Division Odds: 10-1

  • Win Total: 7

  • Playoff odds: Yes +320, No -400

Storyline: Will the Chiefs repeat as divisional, conference and Super Bowl champions?

R.I.B.S: This is the Chiefs world right now and we are all just living in it. The defending champs have officially reached bonkers mode as a franchise. Per Sportsoddshistory.com (which goes back to 1989), they have their highest odds ever in all of the following: projected win totals, divisional odds, conference odds and Super Bowl odds. The Chiefs are also set to return 20 of their 22 starters from their Super Bowl squad. Yup, expectations are higher than ever. Will they live up to them?

AFC North

Ravens

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 8-1

  • AFC Odds: +320

  • Division Odds: -250

  • Win Total: 12

  • Playoff odds: Yes -1100, No +700

Steelers

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 28-1

  • AFC Odds: +900

  • Division Odds: 4-1

  • Win Total: 9

  • Playoff odds: Yes -150, No +130

Browns

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 40-1

  • AFC Odds: +1800

  • Division Odds: +450

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +145, No -165

Bengals

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 100-1

  • AFC Odds: +4500

  • Division Odds: 25-1

  • Win Total: 5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +850, No -1500

Storyline: Can the Steelers return to relevancy and just how much better will the Browns and Bengals be?

Bonus Storyline: Let's be real, we all want to know whether or not Lamar Jackson and the Ravens torrid pace in the regular season will translate to postseason success?

R.I.B.S.: Football truly is the best, most entertaining sport in the world to watch in my humble opinion, but I was told with great power comes great responsibility. Jackson and Ravens are as talented as any team in football, but the lofty expectations came to a crashing halt last season. How crazy are the expectations? This is the highest projected win total in the history of the Ravens franchise (going back to 1989 when odds were calcuated).

NFC East

Cowboys

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 11-1

  • NFC Odds: +500

  • Division Odds: 5-1

  • Win Total: 9.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -240, No +200

Eagles

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 22-1

  • NFC Odds: +1200

  • Division Odds: +105

  • Win Total: 9.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -220, No +185

Giants

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 60-1

  • NFC Odds: +2500

  • Division Odds: 8-1

  • Win Total: 5.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +450, No -600

Redskins

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 150-1

  • NFC Odds: +6000

  • Division Odds: 22-1

  • Win Total: 4.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +850, No -1500

Storyline: Will the Cowboys reach their first NFC championship game since 1995?

R.I.B.S.: The Redskins enter the season as one of the worst teams in the NFL as their odds back it up. Their 60-1 odds to win the NFC are the worst in the entire conference. For such a storied franchise, this season could get ugly. Their low win total suggests that they could be in the running for the Tank for Trevor sweepstakes in 2021, if Dwayne Haskins does not develop into a franchise signal-caller. Their 4.5 win total is the lowest since at least 1989, when records were kept for projected wins. They should struggle a ton, even with Ron Rivera taking over.

NFC North

Packers

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 16-1

  • NFC Odds: +700

  • Division Odds: +175

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -140, No +120

Vikings

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 30-1

  • NFC Odds: +1400

  • Division Odds: +175

  • Win Total: 9

  • Playoff odds: Yes -102, No (EVEN odds)

Bears

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 25-1

  • NFC Odds: +1100

  • Division Odds: +225

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +115, No -135

Lions

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 60-1

  • NFC Odds: +2500

  • Division Odds: +950

  • Win Total: 6.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +425, No -550

Storyline: Will the NFC North be well represented with multiple teams in the playoffs?

R.I.B.S.: 2007 was the last time the Packers had a win total below its current mark of 8.5. In fact, the entire division is lacking the spark at the moment. In fact, since divisions expanded in 2002, the last time the NFC North had consecutive seasons without a team at a double digit win projection was 2009-10. This division could come down to the wire without a team coming close to the 13 wins that Green Bay pulled off last season.

NFC West

49ers

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 7-1

  • NFC Odds: +350

  • Division Odds: +100

  • Win Total: 10.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -325, No +265

Seahawks

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 14-1

  • NFC Odds: +650

  • Division Odds: +240

  • Win Total: 9.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -115, No -105

Rams

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 25-1

  • AFC Odds: +1100

  • Division Odds: +425

  • Win Total: 8.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +150, No -170

Cardinals

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 50-1

  • AFC Odds: +2000

  • Division Odds: +600

  • Win Total: 7.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +245, No -290

Storyline: In just two seasons, will the Rams go from NFC champs to dead last in the NFC West?

R.I.B.S.: Since 2000, the 49ers are tied this season for their second highest win total. To put the hype into perspective though, the 10.5 projected wins this season would be tied for the fewest if we looked at the 90’s. SF was from 11 to 12.5 in all but one season (‘99 was 10.5). Will they return to their dominant 2019 form?

NFC South

Saints

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 14-1

  • NFC Odds: +650

  • Division Odds: -135

  • Win Total: 10.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes -310, No +255

Buccaneers

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 12-1*

  • NFC Odds: +600*

  • Division Odds: +150*

  • Win Total: 9.5*

  • Playoff odds: Yes -250*, No +100

  • * UPDATE: With GRONK

  • Before Gronk: 9 wins, +1600 for SB, +800 for NFC, +200 for South Division, -150/155 for division

Falcons

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 55-1

  • NFC Odds: 25-1

  • Division Odds: +750

  • Win Total: 7.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +200, No -240

Panthers

  • Super Bowl LV Odds: 50-1

  • NFC Odds: +2200

  • Division Odds: +750

  • Win Total: 5.5

  • Playoff odds: Yes +525, No -750

Storyline: Will Tom Brady turn arguably the worst active professional franchise into a perennial Super Bowl contender?

R.I.B.S.: Yes, did you know that the Bucs have the worst active winning percentage among all professional teams. Not just among NFL teams, but this includes the NHL, NBA and MLB. At just under a .386 all-time winning clip and now with lofty expectations, Tampa has officially entered the twilight zone with TB12.

NFC Bonus R.I.B.S.: Having won a Super Bowl already, New Orleans has been craving for more success. Three seasons in a row now, the Saints have had grueling exits in the postseason. I mean, there is nothing worse than blaming things in sports or in life on anybody else but yourself. But, even I will admit their bad luck is quite cursed caliber. No excuses, they should have appeared in the Super Bowl in at least one of these past three seasons and yet here we are. Their 10.5 win total is tied (last season & 2010) for their best mark going back to 1989. Is this finally the season where the Saints get back to the promise land?

AFC Bonus R.I.B.S.: For just the second time ever in 30 years, there are two NFL teams with a win total of 12 or more this season. The Chiefs and Ravens are slam dunks to reach the postseason if their signal-callers can stay healthy. The last and only other time multiple teams have had a win total of 12 or more was back in 2012 when both the Packers and Patriots had sky-high expectations. Neither of those in 2012 hit the over as only New England could force a push, when they went 12-4.
